ImmInfo Library

The ImmInfo Library contains many useful articles, FAQs, charts, and other materials on the subject of US immigration law and procedure. The Library is divided into several different sections that contain different subject matter articles:

Before you begin:  This section contains general information materials that will help you learn the fundamentals of US immigration law and procedure.

Nonimmigrants: Nonimmigrants are foreign nationals who come to the US temporarily and for specific purposes, such as tourism, study, and work. This section deals with the various types of nonimmigrant visas available.

Immigration: Immigration is the procedure used to acquire lawful permanent resident (green card) status. This status allows a foreign national to remain in the United States indefinitely for any purpose.

Naturalization: Foreign nationals who wish to become United States citizens must go through the naturalization process.

Miscellaneous: All immigration subjects not covered by any of the foregoing sections of the Library are included here.

Please check back regularly as these articles are updated often. We also post new articles as we continue to expand the library.
